Google Buzz vs. YouBuzz
How upset must the YouBuzz team be? I'm really sorry to hear about Google Buzz. I was having fun with this group. Perhaps there is room for both platforms.

I just made some big camera purchases: A Canon 7d, battery grip, 16GB card, and two lenses. I want to make a run as a photographer. I have special interest in real estate photography and portraits. I'll go niche in one category and build from there.
Since I can take it everywhere, I've been able to save hours of precious moments with the family. Every time our kids do something cool, I'm there with the Flip to record it. My kids are either going to love me or hate me when they get older. http://geekdadlab.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-havi...p-cam.html
I was listening to "This Week in Startups" and heard about this upcoming product called "Wake Mate". It sounds like a great idea. You slip on a wrist band that is connected wirelessly to a cell phone. The system then wakes you up at the optimum time to make sure you're refreshed as possible. It also takes analysis of your sleep pattern and gives you suggestions for better sleep. It's worth a look http://wakemate.com
I spent some time helping a friend set up a blog. We first set up a Google account, then a Blooger account. My friend couldn't believe that everything was free. There was skepticism. I explained how Google made it's money through Adwords and it's open market system for bidding on keywords, then explained how he could turn in the ads to receive revenue sharing, that got his attention. However I told my friend that he has to build a fan base in order to make money from his blog. This comes from building great content within his niche and interacting with his community.
I just finished my latest UStream show about geek gadgetry (is that even a word?). This show was directed to digital camera owners and taught them about aperture. I even had my first virtual conversation with a viewer. I felt like a rock star even though there were only 5 people watching. Here is a link to the recorded show.http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/4063540
Here is a home video of some of the photo gear I bought from Amazon. I'll be talking about it in my next UStream show.http://www.ustream.tv/channel/tony-zerrer
Now that I understand Posterous a little better, I decided to link it to my other services. Now I'm hooked. I want a smartphone so I can be on the go and post photos and video while I'm away from my computer. I find it amazing how one email can be distributed so efficiently. I love the way it formats my Flickr photos and directly to my Facebook page. Now I need it to connect with my Youbuzz account and I'll be totally set.
I think Google has an opportunity to change human rights in China. Good for them. It's about time a corporation does the responsible thing. What are your thoughts?http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/MKuf/...china.html
I'm way into cameras. I'm not a pro, but I know my way around photography. Through my research on the Internet, I found few good resources for people to quickly grasp the fundamentals. To smooth that learning curve I decided to produce a UStream show devoted to learning digital photography. This show is directed at the growing number of people who own an SLR camera and have no idea how to use it. While point-and-shoot owners can participate, I don't think many of them are interested in moving beyond their camera's "Auto" mode. I welcome anyone to watch the show. I'm planning to start tomorrow morning. I think I might start at 6:00am Pacific time.
